What do you think about after ten years?
I think about people, some wonderful people who have encountered God because of the ministry of the people of Church of God-Makati. I see the faces of some very troubled people who walked through our doors in a theater, in our building, in some Bible study or some other meeting and they have discovered Jesus. The changes have been phenomenal and miraculous. Where would those people be today if they had not found Jesus on that day?
Church of God-Makati has been A Place of New Beginnings for thousands of spiritually hungry men and women. As we have reached out and touched people, Jesus has changed their lives.
It is true that in 10 years, we have been through many struggles, problems, heartaches and difficulties. I don’t think we should spend much time meditating on those things because life is--and probably will always be--full of troubles. Instead, we should give thanks to God for every life He has changed, every person who has grown, every leader who has led, every worker who has worked, every pastor who has pastored and every need He has met. This is what our church is all about.
My prayer for the future is that God will use us to affect our city and nation in a much greater way than before. May thousands more find their new beginning in Jesus at Church of God-Makati.
To God be the glory for all the great things He has done!
