The Life Journal
Psalm 119:105: Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
What we want to do is embark on a wonderful journey of spiritual growth on a personal level and as a church. We are going to read the whole Bible in a year’s time with the Life Journal as our tool.
It has a Bible-reading guide that we can go through together so we’re all “on the same page”. It has a prayer list so we don’t forget to pray about specific needs and we can record when they are answered.
More importantly, we’re going to fill the pages with our meditations on the Word of God and how we are going to apply it in our lives. We’re going to pray it through and even write out our short personal prayer about it.
And don’t be surprised when God opens opportunities to share what you’ve learned and written down about God’s Word so that others can be encouraged, strengthened, enlightened and even wonderfully saved!
Let 2012 be a year where we intentionally grow together in the Word and in deeper relationship with the Lord.
Let it be a year of great expectation as we allow His Word to enlarge our faith so we can attempt greater things for God.

In the midst of Information Technology advancement I somehow miss the snail mail days… and also writing down my random thoughts instead of typing it on a gadget, hehe! I actually wonder how the upcoming generation would manage their lives with most information readily available…
