Shalom & Greetings in Christ from Macau!

Happy New Year. Let me just introduce myself first before I explain about the purpose of this e-mail. My name is Beto and I'm half Indonesian half Filipino currently living in Macau. I'm an Assemblies of God-ordained minister originaly from Hillsong Church in Sydney and am now serving at ICA Macau, a sister church of International Christian Assembly (ICA) in Hong Kong. I am pastoring the Indonesian congregation and leading the youth group of ICA Macau. In addition, I'm the advisor of our church's annual World Revolution Music Festival (RevFest), an outdoor rock gospel music concert held every September in the city centre of Macau, bringing different Christian bands, singers, artists and celebrities from several countries.

But my purpose of writing this e-mail is about my personal ministry, M28.19 Ministries, which also involves a lot in youths, music, mercy and revival ministries. One of our activities is "Macau for Movement", which sends out mission trips every year to several different places. and for the past 3 years we have sent missions to the Philippines, which is now on our annual commitment, along with Indonesia and Australia.

Our annual "Macau for Philippines" this year will be this month. We'll be going to Manila on 20 January and we'll be returning back to Macau on 25 January. We will be ministering several churches there as well as carrying out some street evangelism in Nueva Ecija and Navotas. We're wondering if we could have an opportunity to serve in any way in your church on one of the days during our time there. Our missions consist of people from different churches and ministries (Christian only obviously), and for this trip, apart from me, we will have another pastor from pentecostal background, who is also a member of YWAM Macau. We have a worship leader and some church workers who are working in Macau as domestic helpers (Indonesians and Filipinos), who can give testimonies. Two ladies in their 50s also have some great testimonies about their background (alcohol, gambling, budhism and catholicism). The Filipino domestic helpers that will be coming with us are also from Roman Catholic background.

We are still free on Saturday 21 January night time if you would like to organise a special service and on Sunday 22 January at 8 - 10 am and 5 - 7 p.m.

To give you ideas of what we do during this trip, here are some of the scheduled and confirmed activities that we will have:

Friday, 20 Jan - Arrive and practice for Morong concert

Saturday, 21 January - Word of Hope Morong concert from 3 - 5 o'clock in the afternoon (sound check from 1 - 2 p.m.)

Sunday, 20 January - 3 from our 12 members will be ministering a children Sunday School at Faith Fellowship (we ministered the youth group of this church last year) in Quezon City in the morning (the rest are still free), and then we will be ministering the ladies' fellowship of Word of Hope Manila from 1.30 - 3.30 p.m., a before we go to Nueva Ecija that day.

Monday, 20 January - Outdoor crucade at Nueva Ecija in the morning, street evangelism in Nueva Ecija mall in the afternoon, Revival Meeting at Jesus Loves You church in the evening

Tuesday, 21 January - back to Manila, steet evangelism at Smoky Mountain, then ministering Philippine Community Fellwoship Church in Navotas.

Wednesday, 23 January - back to Macau in the morning

We would be honoured if given a chance to partner in anyway with your ministry. And if time is not allowing for such opportunity, would love to catch up with someone from your church to talk further about ICA Macau's RevFest this year as I'll be bringing a promo video/last't year's event. Thank you very much, would be waiting to hear back from you.

Blessigs,

Pretty cool! Will surely buy one :-)

In the midst of Information Technology advancement I somehow miss the snail mail days... and also writing down my random thoughts instead of typing it on a gadget, hehe! I actually wonder how the upcoming generation would manage their lives with most information readily available...

I believe this Life Journal will be useful to me... to us...
